FoxFire is a lovely red dun mare from Sheepshead HMA. She was one of the original "found" horses
placed into the Kiger Mesteno Association studbook as a Kiger horse when the breed book was still
open. She has been an incredible producer of Kiger horses, producing great duns with all the Kiger
characteristics. She has proven herself to be a genetic asset to the Kiger breed.
Foxfire has a super wide 3"+ dorsal, strong arm bars, moderate leg barring, and ear barring. She
carries the sooty gene as she has produced sooty offspring. She also passes heavy bi-coloring to
many of her offspring.
Foxfire is registered in the Appendix category of Kiger Horse Association & Registry. as 100%
Sheepshead HMA. Her offspring are eligible for Appendix category if sired by a Kiger/Riddle stallion.
Foxfire has been left open for the 2008 season.
