Ah, FireDance.  What can we say about this mare?  She is one of our best mares!  Every offspring from
her has been outstanding.  With three different stallions, she has shown that she is pre-potent,
stamping her foals with incredible looks, great minds and breathtaking movement.

Genetically, she carries the sooty gene as she was produced two sooty duns with two different
stallions.  She also has never produced a non-dun foal, so I would suspect she is homozygous for the
dun gene.  She has produced one claybank-colored silver grulla colt, so perhaps she carries cream or
pearl.  She is also well marked with dun factor.  She has eye marks, ear bars, broken cobwebbing on
her forehead, a strong arm bar, leg barring, dark lacing, dorsal, and luxurious bi-coloring.  Definitely a
genetic powerhouse!

FireDance is a sweetheart.  She is one of the first mares to greet you when you go out to visit the
horses.  She passes this happy-go-lucky personality on to her offspring.  FireDance was never placed
under saddle, something I regret never having done. However, her offspring have done well under
saddle.

FireDance is registered in the Appendix category of
Kiger Horse Association & Registry, her foals are
eligible for the Traditional category.  She will also be registered in ABRA and IBHA this spring once she
sheds out.

FireDance is bred to
Kiger Dunsmuir for a 2008 foal.
We just love the 2007 filly they produced so much we had to repeat the breeding.
